Part of my job is making sure you don’t have one! Portraits with your new spouse aren’t a time for Uncle Bob to make unwelcome jokes or for your mom to comment on your smile looking fake (I promise I’ll be the first to tell you if anything’s wonky.)
Portraits are a time for you and your person to get to breathe and connect on your wedding day. I’ll kindly direct Uncle Bob, and anyone else in the peanut gallery, toward cocktail hour if that’s what it takes for you two to have a moment of peace. You deserve a chance to pause together, mayyyybe make out a little (it is your wedding day after all!), and let the reality of the commitment and the joy sink in.

We can get epic nature shots (you are in Colorado after all!)
And we can do it without harming public land or using private property without permission
LNT stands for Leave No Trace — a practice that’s good for the planet, important to me as a Colorado mountain wedding photographer, and hopefully important to you! I was born and raised in Colorado, and I want to keep it beautiful for everyone to enjoy.
That’s why I research locations, permits, and closures ahead of time. I also ask permission before we use anyone’s private property — there are plenty of beautiful places we can create memories and photos without breaking the law. Promise.
Leave the confetti, smoke bombs, and non-native flower petals at home. We’ve got genuine love to capture, and that’ll make for better photos than plastic confetti ever could.
