This Engagement session makes me so happy, because it’s MY BESTIE! Tina is engaged to the sweetest, most fun, and downright awesome Jaclyn. And I am stoked about it! (I mean look how cute they are together). 

For their engagement session we drove around Ogden, Utah looking for a pretty park with great trees and lots of light. I would say we nailed it! 

We had so much fun looking for flowers, chasing ducks (to look at of course), and lots and lots of laughing. Which is pretty usual when we all hang out. 

Tina and I have been friends since 2011, where we met working at an Olive Garden as servers. (We actually became besties at a Rockies game after she moved to Arizona for school… but that’s a whole other story). 

I love engagement sessions because they are such a great opportunity to get to know your photographer and their style in a much more laid back environment than your wedding. There is none of the time constraint or pressure of the wedding day, so it’s a great time to relax, have a ton of fun, and find your groove with your partner.

It’s also a great time for your photographer to get to know you as a couple. Even though I have known these gals for a long time, everyone gets a little nervous in front of a camera. It takes a little while to relax, but with a great photographer you should be having fun and focusing on your partner in no time.

Tina and Jacyn just bought a house together in Utah, and are currently planning their dream wedding. 
Congratulations Tina and Jaclyn! I can’t wait to celebrate with you both at your wedding!
