Joey & Nikki, Willow Ridge Manor, Colorado Wedding Photography
I was so pleased to be invited along with Alysha Ann Photography to photograph this fun loving couple. Joey and Nikki were long time college sweethearts, so it made so much sense that they would choose their wedding location based on where they met, The University of Denver. Everything about this day was so well thought out and meaningful. From the super personal details, the groom’s family heirlooms passed down, and bride’s locket with photos of loved ones passed. They held their ceremony at the University Park United Methodist Church. Which was just a few blocks from The University of Denver, where we went for the bridal party and couples photos after the ceremony. Once our photo time was up we all headed up to Morrison Colorado, to the Willow Ridge Manor for the reception. What a beautiful place for a party! The red rocks of Morrison and the mountain views made for a stunning dinner view. I love when venues have balconies, because it makes it possible to get a photo of all the guests at once! Such a fun way to honor your special guests! Joey and Nikki also skipped the traditional wedding cake for an assortment of gorgeous (and quite tasty) desserts. Congratulations Joey and Nikki! Your wedding day was *almost* as beautiful as you two. Please drop a comment if you have any wedding planning questions! I love helping out with the planning process.
