Stylish Rooftop 1630 Denver Wedding Photography

I was so honored to be able to capture and photograph the wedding celebration of Asia and Hunter. The absolute sweetest couple! They live in San Francisco and had a stunning intimate elopement earlier in the year at the iconic San Francisco City Hall. But they are seriously awesome people and have so many friends they decided they also wanted to celebrate with all their Colorado crew too. So they did it right and decided to party twice, woo hoo! 

Since the legal work had already been done, all the pressure was off and the whole day felt laid back and relaxed, and just plain fun. Asia, Hunter, and all their besties got ready together at a sunny Airbnb in the Denver Highlands neighborhood. Asia’s mom Kelly, who is an incredibly talented seamstress, altered Asia’s dress to fit her like a glove, and made her beautiful veil. She altered my and my sister’s dresses, and lots of my past brides. Holler at me if you need her number, she is the bees knees! 

After everyone was finished getting glitzy for the party, Asia and Hunter had a sweet first look on the balcony of the Airbnb. Life tip: find you a man that looks at you like Hunter looked at Asia during this first look, you can’t beat that look of pure joy.

After one of the best first looks ever, we headed down to the street for some group shots with their besties. All of the stylish ladies wore different complementary colors, which sure do make group photos pop, I love that look! When we were finished with the group photos and some romantics, we headed off to the venue so the real party could start!

If you are looking for a gorgeous outdoor venue in the heart of downtown Denver, Rooftop 1630 is the vibe! Incredible city views, flower gardens that balance sleek urban vibes with vibrant pops of nature, indoor bar, with a whole wall of sliding windows to welcome our beautiful Colorado weather on nice days (aka most of them), this is a truly unique venue that was an absolute pleasure to photograph. After dinner and when the sun went down, it was time to dance, and dance we did! 

I loved being able to celebrate with these two. Asia and Hunter, you are so lovely in every way and I wish you the longest and happiest marriage!
