Marinda & Darin, Lionsgate Manor, Colorado wedding photography.
I had the absolute honor of second shooting with the super talented Redden Wood Photography this summer. The wedding, held at the Lionscrest Manor, in Lions Colorado, this wedding was one for the books. The bride Marinda, had the most beautiful vintage inspired style. Everything from her grandmother’s handkerchief, to her velvet lined heels, to her exquisitely detailed beaded dress, just oozed of classic style. The day was full of sweet fresh flowers everywhere, mountain views, and greenery lined tables with soft flickering candles. Marinda and Darin’s first look was so beautiful. Darin waited for his bride on the balcony, overlooking their ceremony space, and their happy tears were worth all the nerves leading up to this moment. I love first looks so much, they really are such a special, private part of the day just for the bride and groom. Really the only part of the day that is completely set aside for the two most important people of the day. The couple’s portraits were set to the background of the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains. Lions is just outside Boulder Colorado, which has some of the best mountain views on the front range. This gorgeous couple were so excited to say their vows, which made for some seriously romantic portraits. Their ceremony was stunning, bold floral arrangements alined the aisle and the arch they were wed under. Green aspen leaves and grass set the vibrant stage for a very intimate and heartfelt vow exchange. The bride’s mother honored the couple with a song she sang with the help of a small orchestra. And the candle ceremony, though tricky because of some gusty winds, happened with the help of some shielding from the officiant. Speaking of amazing details, ong check out the cakes! A three tiered masterpiece (literally my favorite cake I have ever photographed), and the cutest little sloth cake too! And if that wasn’t enough pretty sweet things to please you, there was also an assortment of french macaroons! This wedding was so much fun. Thanks again to Redden Wood Photography for having me along to help capture this glorious day. Congratulations Marinda and Darin!
